The left and right audio channels correspond to the horizontal and vertical axes of the image. Parametric functions are meticulously crafted to create synesthetic geometries in a lab aesthetic that is retro and futuristic at the same time. The tricky part is to create images that sound good and vice versa, which demands novel methods of synthesis, mixing and mastering.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eIf the first album \"Oscilloscope Music\" was a proof of concept, N-SPHERES is the purpose of that concept. Oscilloscope Music is now completely functional and ready to ascend to the n-th dimension. An n-sphere is an n-dimensional generalization of a circle or a sphere to any non-negative integer, and if that doesn't make sense right away, don't worry, watching the ep will get you there. N-SPHERES sounds rougher and more uncompromising, yet closer to the dancefloor and on an entirely new level of complexity. It features 5 tracks, with a complete play time of around 30 minutes.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eSince Oscilloscope Music is based almost entirely on parametric functions, it is possible to store only these functions in an executable program and let the program create the audio and video output on the fly. The storage space required for such a program is just a fraction of an audio or video file. The track FUNCTION it is roughly 41KB in size. Due to this extremely small file size it is possible to store the executables for the entire audiovisual EP in Windows \/ MacOS versions all on one 3.5\" 1.44MB floppy disk.
